Pama Language Centre would like to announce the establishment of Pama Languages Press, a new First Nations languages publishing company, and the launch of our first three publications: Amra Niighi Laenae by Victoria Kennedy, Judy Chwe Nue ‘Wa, by Agnes Mark and Therra Kaffry by Susan Kennedy. These three children’s picture books are the first texts ever published in Mpakwithi, the language of Tentpole Creek on the west coast of Cape York Peninsula. These books are also available as read aloud ebooks.

Pama Languages Press publishes original First Nations languages literature, adaptations of traditional oral literature, language learning and teaching materials and resources such as dictionaries and grammars. Publications are both digital and print.
